Monthly catch ups for rural Australians affected by organ and tissue donation. It is a valuable opportunity to meet with people going through a similar journey that “Get it”.
These online seminars and activities focus on different topics and are hosted by different guest speakers.
We offer all rural transplant patients (pre and post) their carers and their families the opportunity to meet others and build their own H E R D – for peer support.
The program has been designed to help on the journey and give those attending many tools to assist with information and mental health supports.
This ground breaking initiative and first of its kind in Australia has come as a result of the study published in 2020.
The program is offered at no cost to the participant. If you are interested or know someone who would benefit please contact us!
Another peer support project is the Hope Outback kids camp project.
