Sam Picker, one of Australia’s fastest shearers jumped on the other side and was shorn to raise funds for the Herd of Hope.
The REDS provides assistance for regional dialysis patients in the Light Regional and Barossa Council areas.
Herd of Hope recently received some funding from a footy club in NSW and has developed a project for rural children admitted to hospital. A homemade mate (cow or sheep) will accompany them to support them their hospital visit.
