About Herd of Hope

The Herd of Hope is an Australian charity that focuses on supporting organ recipients and donor families in regional and rural Australia. Founded in 2017 by organ recipient Megan McLoughlin, the charity has spread the message of hope for organ donation through events around Australia.

The Herd of Hope together with the University of South Australia, has funded a study to research the impact transplant recipients and their carers face when regionally based. Professor Ian Olver and Dr Kate Fennell will present the study summary late 2018. The findings will enable the Herd of Hope to develop much needed services.
